Keeping your account secure

This guide will explain how to keep your account secure, while you use our Game Panel.

Sharing Panel Access

If you wish others to access your server so that they can make file changes, rather than sharing your details you can use our sub-user system that's built into the panel.

Securing Your Account

To keep your account secure, we advise using a secure password and following the steps below to ensure that no one is able to login to your account without permission.

1. To begin, please download a Two Factor Authentication app to your mobile device. Examples of this are Authy or Google Authenticator. For this example I will be using Authy.

2. Log in to your Game Panel - Once you are logged in, click the PebbleHost logo in the top right corner, to take you to your account page.

3. Once you are on your account page, click on the Enable Google Authenticator option in the left hand sidebar

4. You will see a QR code, which you can scan using the two factor authentication app you downloaded earlier.

5. Once you have scanned the QR code, and proceeded you will be generated a 6 digit code you will need to enter.

6. Please enter the code in the input field as well as confirming your password, then click save. Once done, you will be redirected where it will say that it has been enabled.

7. Now that this is enabled, each time that you go to login you will be required to enter the code. This ensures without that device, no one can log in to your device.

If you lose this device, you will need to open a ticket so that we can remove this from your account - Submit Ticket
