How to install mods on your Ark server

Ark mods can add extra gameplay mechanics, extra dinos, and more to Ark: Survival evolved. If you want to install Ark mods to your server you can do so easily through our mod installer!

How to install Ark mods

1. You can browse through the mods available on your Mod Installer page, additionally you can search for any mods you'd like to play with.

2. Once you've decided on a mod to install, select the View on Steam link, and click Subscribe on the mod - this is necessary in order to have the mod installed on your client too.

3. Back on the panel, click Install under the mod's name - it should then be queued to be installed next time your server reboots
4. Reboot the server, you should see the mod being installed in console. If there's any errors, feel free to contact our support team to have this looked into!

I get an error that says the server hasn't been started yet

This happens when the loader has not yet installed the Ark server, and the file into which the panel installs mods, therefore you will need to reboot the server for this to be generated. If the installer page still won't load, please try logging into FTP via FileZilla and deleting the .pebblehostgame file. If that doesn't resolve the issue then please contact support.
